Why not join a volunteering event in the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)?
Volunteering with the AONB is a great way to contribute to looking after this very special place we love but we also hope it is an opportunity to see old, and meet new, friends whilst learning more about the Solway and acquiring new skills.
The next volunteering session is on Thursday 11th October 09:30 – 15:30This session will be at Crosscanonby Carr Reserve and the task will be raking the cut meadow, removing the nutrient rich hay so we can create the conditions for a fantastic, species rich wild flower meadow next year.Raking the meadow is a big job so a good turnout of volunteers would really help to get the job done in one day.
