Coastal communities are set to benefit from the net revenue generated by the Scottish Crown Estate marine assets out to 12 nautical miles.
Scottish Ministers agreed that annual allocations should be distributed to local areas in arrears following the finalisation of the annual accounts for the Scottish Crown Estate.
The allocation for 2020-2021 relates to the net revenue generated in 2018-2019. This is the second tranche of payments under the arrangements to ensure that coastal communities benefit from the net revenue generated by the Scottish Crown Estate marine assets out to 12 nautical miles following the devolution of the management of assets.
