There is still time to comment on Scotland’s National Marine Plan Review 2021.
The National Marine Plan was published in 2015. It sets out the Scottish vision for clean, healthy, safe, productive and diverse seas, managed to meet the long term needs of nature and people. In accordance with the Scottish and UK legislation, there is a requirement to review and report on the implementation of the Plan.
The Plan was first reviewed in 2018, available here, with the 2021 review now available – National Marine Plan Review 2021
This report fulfils the commitment in the UK legislation to review the Plan every three years.
This consultation closes on 31 May 2021.
