The Scottish Parliament is seeking views on Regional Marine Planning questions posed in a recent Call for Evidence.
These questions focus around Regional Marine Planning progress to date, progress sought for the future, and integration with terrestrial planning. It is worth noting that the Solway marine region currently does not have a Regional Planning Partnership, with 3 of the 11 Scottish inshore regions having been given the direction to form these partnerships and begin the process of Regional Marine Planning; The Clyde, Shetland Islands, and most recently the Orkney Islands.
This is part of the current business for the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee and has a deadline for submissions, 12th July 2019.
