The Solway Coast AONB and the Solway Firth Partnership are presenting a series of webinars that focus on cross border topics such as salt making, military history, dynamic dunes and farmsteads.
The first talk of the series, ‘Salt on the Solway’, has now taken place and was fully booked!
It focused on the Solway’s salt making heritage. The speakers, Andrew Fielding and John Pickin, summarised our current understanding of historic salt making on both sides of the Solway.
