RWE Robin Rigg and the Solway Firth Partnership are pleased to announce the recipients of grants for 2020 from the Robin Rigg Community Fund.
We have disbursed over £120,000 to 19 organisations in Cumbria and Dumfries and Galloway. The grants support a variety of projects but they all have one thing in common: helping these organisations to benefit their local communities along the Solway coast.
We’ve had to make some difficult choices this year as the fund was over three times oversubscribed – grant applications totalled over £420k – and we regret that some good projects couldn’t be funded. We will be issuing some updated guidance notes for the next round of applications for grants in 2021. Expect to see these, along with announcements of application dates and deadlines, some time in late summer this year.
