Project Collette Community Wind Farm – information events.

Project Collette, a proposal for a large, part community-owned, offshore wind farm off the Cumbrian Coast, is running two discussion events on 4 September 2024 at Whitehaven RFLC.  There will be one session at 2pm and one at 5pm.

At the event you will hear an overview of the project from Ciara Shannon, co-founder and director of the Green Finance Community Hub, and have an opportunity to ask your questions and share views on how you would like to see it develop.

About Project Collette

  • The Green Finance Community Hub was set up in May 2022 as a Community Interest Company (CIC), with an asset lock and they are leading the initial development of Project Collette with their partners – Energy4All and Arup. See here: Project Collette – Green Finance Community Hub CIC
