Participate in a Focus Group about Saltmarshes

A Sustainable Development PhD student at the University of St Andrews would like to invite members of the public to participate in a discussion about saltmarshes.

Join the focus group on either of the days:

Wednesday 7 August from 6.00pm to 7.30pm or

Thursday 8 August from 6.00pm to 7.30pm

at Logan Room, Lochvale House, Georgetown Road, Dumfries, DG1 4DF

Everyone over the age of 16 is welcome and refreshments (coffee/tea/biscuits/ will be provided). The researcher is really interested in finding out about how familiar members of the public are with saltmarshes and what they think about them (e g if you think there are any benefits or drawbacks to this natural environment).

The results of the discussions will feed into research on coastal management in the context of
climate change and sea level rise.  Community involvement and finding out about people’s preferences
is a big part of this work.

If you would like to participate in one of the groups please fill in a brief form with your contact details – click here
