New Post Created for Climate Action Network Coordinators – Dumfries and Galloway.

Thanks to support from the Scottish Government, the Scottish Climate Change Action Network (SCCAN) are delighted to be able to recruit Climate Action Network Coordinators for Lanarkshire; Dumfries and Galloway; Ayrshire; West-Lothian and Highlands (south).

The aim of the regional Network Coordinator is to build connection and understanding across community groups and create structures to enable the adoption of more strategic and collaborative approaches to the climate emergency.

The Scottish Government is supporting SCCAN to invest in a number of regional community climate action networks across Scotland. This is to enable consolidation and expansion of the work of existing community climate action networks and to nurture the creation of new regional networks, which can support the emergence of the regional community climate action hubs.

The closing date for applications in on Thursday 28 July, and interviews are to be held on 2 August.
