New Play at Annan Harbour in DG Arts Festival

A new play has been brought to Annan Harbour as part of the DG Arts Festival.

The new play by Vivien Jones, directed by Ken Gouge was set in 1775 and tells the story of migration. A family leave their home in Annan to sail to Nova Scotia in search of a better life. Their resilience and fortitude will resonate with the causes of modern-day mass emigration.

The production will depend on current covid-19 regulations. Details can be found on the DG Arts Festival website

A Buskers production in association with Fox and Hound Theatre company.

Commissioned by Annan Harbour Action Group and supported by Dumfries & Galloway Council.
