MSP in the Irish Sea: Where are We Now? An ISMF Virtual Conference on Thursday 15 September 2022
The Irish Sea Maritime Forum is pleased to announce we are holding a half day virtual conference: MSP in the Irish Sea: Where are we now? on Thursday 15th September 2022, 10.00 – 12.30.
The aim of the conference is to bring together stakeholders from across the Irish Sea and update them on the progress of national Marine Spatial Plans over the last two years. This is the first Irish Sea Maritime Forum event since our last conference in Cardiff January 2019 and we look forward to welcoming people from all around the Irish Sea.
The first part of the session will be marine planning updates across the Irish Sea: Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Isle of Man, Republic of Ireland and England, followed by a short Q & A Session. Delegates will then be able to participate in a discussion on the headlines emerging from the future and changing context of the Irish Sea Report (produced by ISMF, 2021). The conference concludes with a presentation from the Irish Sea Network and an announcement of our plans for an in person conference September 2023 to be held on the Isle of Man on the theme of Transboundary MSP and Marine Biospheres.
