Millport Marine Symposium

The 3rd Millport Marine Symposium will take place on Saturday 19th October and will feature 16 speakers from all fields of marine science.  The diverse array of presentation topics on offer is sure to provide exciting opportunities to find out about some fantastic projects from both here in the UK and further afield.

The heavily reduced rate of £15 per conference ticket includes all-day refreshments and a buffet lunch, with all proceeds from the conference contributing towards the development and restoration of the Robertson Museum and Aquarium.

The Symposium welcomes all ages and backgrounds from academics, researchers and conservations to artists, students and families. This year’s event hopes to build on the success of last year’s conference by engaging a wider audience and a greater diversity of talks.

Free and paid field excursions will be run on the Sunday morning including rocky shore visit, plankton microscopy lab and wildlife boat trips!
