Free First Aid Training – Stranraer
Solway Firth Partnership is excited to announce an all-day event in Stranraer on 27 February as part of the Solway Shore Action Project. This initiative aims to provide essential first aid training, free of charge, to volunteers who participate in beach cleaning, either individually or as part of a group.
The event will take place in Stranraer, where participants will learn valuable first aid skills that could save lives. The training will be conducted by a certified first aid instructor and will cover a range of topics, including CPR, wound care, and emergency response techniques. Participants will also have the opportunity to gain a certificate in emergency first aid.
Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to join. No prior experience is necessary, and all equipment will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity for beach cleaning volunteers to gain valuable life-saving skills while continuing to contribute to the preservation of our beautiful coastline. It’s also a great chance to meet and connect with other dedicated beach cleaners in the community.
