Fisheries Innovation Scotland is delighted to announce that applications are open for the next International Study Bursary 2018.
The bursary is available for young people in the fishing industry to travel to another country to take up placements, working alongside those working in or with the commercial fishing industry including: catching, processing, supply chain, NGO, academia, indeed across the entire sector.
Individuals must have identified an international study or networking opportunity that could further their development or career. There is no set budget for the bursary as it will vary depending on location and travel costs. It is likely that applicants will come from the ‘younger’ sector of the industry, but it is very much about development of the individual.
Fisheries Innovation Scotland is now accepting applications for the 2018 International Study Bursary, closing date – 31 October 2018.
