A new Cumbrian Solway Coaster video has been produced.
The ‘Solway Coaster’ is a 14.1km route between Allonby and Silloth on Cumbria’s Solway Coast. The link between the coastal towns forms part of the National Cycle Network Route 72 (Hadrian’s Cycleway), which runs from Ravenglass, Cumbria, to South Shields in Tyne and Wear.
The new section of path, completed in early 2021, joins onto the already successful route from Maryport to Allonby. A combination of on and off-road sections, this new stretch of Hadrian’s Cycleway offers spectacular views of the Solway Coast and Scotland to the west and the Lake District Fells to the east.
See the stunning local scenery captured with spectacular drone-footage of Hadrian’s Cycleway (National Route 72) as it makes its way along the Solway Coast in Allerdale between Maryport and Silloth.
