Join the Big Beach Clean at Mersehead with Solway Firth Partnership on Saturday 16 October from 10am to 2pm.
Migration is amazing. Each year wildlife travel to the Solway, often covering vast distances. Winds and sea currents help or hinder migration and carry the plastics that wash up on our beaches. Clean the beach at Mersehead, be a detective to track down the source of debris and discover more about wildlife migration.
Meet at the Visitor Centre at 10am and remember to bring a pack lunch for the beach, and your own gloves. No booking required.
