There is a play park located beside the beach with a basketball/football court and bowling green. The beach is also connected to a footpath, the Mull of Galloway Trail which opened in August 2012. The Mull of Galloway to Stranraer section is 24 miles long and is mainly a coastal route taking in many of the coastal villages along the east side of the Mull.
