NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nineteenth Annual General Meeting of the Partnership will be held at the Halston Hotel, Warwick Road, Carlisle, CA1 1AB at 10.00am on Friday 17 November 2023
The meeting may also be attended online.

- 2. Minutes of Eighteenth AGM held on 11 November 2022
- 3. Matters Arising
There were no actions assigned in the draft minutes of the previous AGM.
- 4. Annual Report by Trustees
- There will be a short presentation on the work of the partnership from the Partnership Manager.
- 5. Accounts for the period to 31st March 2023
- The accounts were reviewed by JT Rennie and Co and are published on the Partnership’s website. There will be a short presentation to give an overview of the financial results for the year.
- 6. Election of Corporate Member (in terms of Article 3)
- Workington Town Council have been proposed as a Corporate Member of the Partnership. Nominations have been received from Dumfries and Galloway Council, Maryport Harbour Authority, Associated British Ports (Port of Silloth) and Cumberland Council. (NB: Only the Corporate members to vote.)
- 7. Election of Trustees by the Corporate and Ordinary Members (in terms of Articles 31 and 32)
- (a) Corporate Trustees: (NB: Only the Corporate members vote.)
- (i)Cllr Malcolm Johnstone (Dumfries & Galloway Council) is due to retire by rotation.
- (b) Ordinary Trustees: (NB: Only the ordinary members vote.)
- (i) Rupert Shaw is due to retire by rotation. He has indicated that he is willing to stand for re-election.
- (c) Co-opted Trustees:
- June Lochhead has resigned from the board of trustees as of the 2023 AGM.
- (i) Co-opted trustees are to be appointed to serve until the next AGM.
- Co-opted trustees are: Sheena Horner and Judith Brown.
8. Fixing any Subscriptions (in terms of Article 6)
The Trustees recommend retaining subscriptions at the current level of £NIL.
- 9. Appointment, fixing of the remuneration, of the Independent Financial Examiner (in terms of Article 16).
- The trustees recommend that JT Rennie & Co of Dumfries continue to act as Independent Financial Examiner
- 10. Any other business
