Seeking a New SFP Board Member in Cumbria
Solway Firth Partnership (SFP) is an independent charity that works to support a vibrant and sustainable local economy while respecting, protecting and celebrating the distinctive character, heritage and natural features of our marine and coastal area. Current projects to support this mission include work to restore and expand coastal habitats, tackle marine litter and promote tourism. The Partnership are now looking for a new Board member from Cumbria to help us to deliver our vision. If you are passionate about the Solway Firth and the Partnership’s objectives and have a connection to this amazing part of the world through living here or through work then we would love to hear from you. SFP are interested in speaking with candidates with a wide range of skill sets – however candidates with experience in community engagement, fundraising / income generation and health & wellbeing are particularly welcome.
The commitment is to attend 4 board meetings (hybrid format), including an AGM and an annual site visit, with relevant preparation and further meetings or ad-hoc work when required through the year.
