Environment Fair 2015 Saturday 14 March

The Fair will be held on Saturday 14 March from 10am to 3.30pm in the Crichton’s Rutherford McCowan building and will once again showcase and celebrate the diversity of organisations involved with the natural environment of D&G.

After much confusion concerning funding and venue, the Dumfries & Galloway Environment Fair 2015 is now taking registrations from stall holders.

Over 50 environmental organisations will be in attendance, representing a lively mix of small local projects and larger national concerns. Find out what’s being done in Dumfries and Galloway to protect and enhance our very special environment, and more broadly what we can all do to ensure the best future for our world.  Dozens of stalls will be providing a wide range of crafts, quizzes, demonstrations, films, interactive displays and things to make.  All of which will help everyone ‘learn, enjoy and get involved’ with their environment.

Funded by D&G Council and supported by Dumfries University Campus students, the Fair will provide an interactive visitor experience; a day full of fun and information.
