The Lighthouse and Exhibition are open daily during July and August for the school holidays from 11am to 5pm. Climb the 115 steps and receive your certificate of achievement as a souvenir.

Mull of Galloway Lighthouse 

 

Every Sunday throughout the season there will be a demonstration and a switch on of the engines. This will take place between 1pm and 2pm and is included in the admission charge to the Exhibition. After the nesting season of the birds the Foghorn will be blasted too so keep an eye on the website and Facebook for more details.

 

RSPB are running their ‘Wild Trail’ find out answers to some wildlife questions by following the circular trail and reading the boards placed around the reserve and collect a free prize for taking part. Also check out the ‘Wild Challenge’ and complete five wildlife related challenges to spot different things and win a free prize also. Both RSPB activities will run throughout the holidays.

 

The RSPB Visitor Centre is open each day between 10am and 5pm where friendly staff and volunteers will be more than happy to chat to you about what wildlife you can see and the best places to go or why not join us on one of our regular guided walks, every Wednesday at 1pm.

 

National Whale and Dolphin Watch 2018 - Join RSPB Mull of Galloway on 4th August between 13:00 and 16:00 for a whale and dolphin watch at Scotland’s most Southerly Point.
