Rockpool Ramble and Storytelling at St Bees

Join Cumbria Wildlife Trust on Saturday 3 June, 12.00noon to 4.00pm to celebrate the launch of The Secret of the Sea, their new Irish Sea Tale Trail!

Children will have the chance to learn more about the weird and wonderful creatures that live in the Irish Sea through a rockpooling session, followed by storytelling which will guide them on a journey around the Irish Sea meeting lots of different characters along the way.

Visitors will explore the rocky shore at St Bees on a guided family rockpool ramble, delving deeper into the local rockpools and discovering more about the critters that the tides leave behind. Afterwards everyone will come together to share what's been found and there will be a storytelling of the new Irish Sea tale trail.
