Conference November 2012

Solway Firth Partnership Conference and AGM 2012

The Solway Firth Partnership Conference and AGM was held on Friday 16 November at Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries and it turned out to be a successful and interesting day.  The conference is our annual opportunity to bring all the interests in the Solway together and, as we have done in the past, the programme ran parallel sessions so that delegates could tailor the event to their particular interests. The full programme can be read here.

John Thomson, Convenor of Southern Uplands Partnership, provided the keynote address - Borderlands: where politics and ecology collide, followed by sessions that covered a broad range of issues and opportunities relevant to the Solway that aimed to inform and inspire debate throughout the day.
